Job Summary:

Taft Property Venture Development Corp. is seeking a talented Project Civil Engineer (Planning Engineer) to join our team in Cebu City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of our exciting infrastructure projects, contributing your expertise in civil and structural engineering. Your strategic input will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of these high-impact initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive project plans, ensuring they adhere to engineering standards and client requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and detailed design analysis to optimise project outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate construction activities and resolve technical challenges
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Civil Engineer or Planning Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
• Proven track record of successfully planning and delivering complex infrastructure projects
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantaged
